2018-2019 XTERRA GEORGIA TRAIL RUN SERIES PRESENTED BY CHATEAU ELAN!

It´s Official! Dirty Spokes Productions, LLC has signed on with XTERRA again for 2018! We will be hosting 5 XTERRA Georgia trail running races this year (starting in September 2018)! The season will include races from September 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018 (race day age based on 8/31/19 for the 2018-2019 series)!

Just what you trail enthusiasts have been waiting for! Dirty Spokes Productions,LLC is proud to present the XTERRA Georgia Trail Run Series! Each race has something different to offer and as a matter of fact, you will come to know why we follow the creed ´Ditch the City´. Register for one, two, three, four or all five Georgia Races! That´s right you can enter as many or as few of the races as you like! If you are running for XTERRA Series points and a free entry to XTERRA Nationals, you must run the longer distance event! We have some great courses ⁄ trail races put together for you all! The feedback we have received about the courses ⁄ venues ⁄ races has been outstanding! We are thrilled you are enjoying the trail races as much as we are enjoying putting them on for you!

If you finish the XTERRA Georgia Trail Run Series as the XTERRA Series Age Group Champion and have run in 3 of the 5 events you qualify for the Custom Handcrafted XTERRA Georgia Series Medal (you MUST run 3 of the 5 events to win a Medal... we WILL NOT drop your lowest race for the "Local Series" Winners Prizes... the more races you run the more points you accumulate towards the Series Championship)! We are giving these away to the Long and Short Course Age Group Winners (Medals to ALL 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Age Group Winners)!

You can point qualify for the XTERRA Trail Run National Championship (2019 Location: Ogden, Utah). XTERRA will be keeping track of the top finishers in each race event and awarding a Georgia overall top male and female athlete in each age group (XTERRA will provide a Certificate and Free Entry to the National Championship for the top finisher in each age group ⁄ category at the end of the series / long course only). In order to qualify you must run long course events (please note points don't transfer from long course to short course OR short course to long course). Participant t-shirts will be provided at pre-race registration (different t-shirt for each race). XTERRA Race Day Age is based on August 31, 2019. A competitor´s age on this day is the age they will race all year long. XTERRA Trail Run Series age groups are: 14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75&Over. For Example: If you are 29 years old, but turn 30 on August 20th, you will be racing in the 30-39 age group. Enter as many XTERRA Trail Runs as you can to score maximum points (6 here in Georgia). It's not mandatory that you race in all events in the Series, but your chances of winning the region are much better if you do. You will be allocated "0" points for races in your Series that you do not enter. 

Accumulate Points - points are awarded to the top fifteen finishers in each age group at each race. Please see the points breakdown below. All points will be totaled after the finish of the last trail run in your series. Have a bad race? For those who do all five races (GA Series), your lowest race score will be dropped (this is for the "National Level" Championships... for the "Local Series" Championship Medals we Count ALL Races... Let me know if you have questions). Current standings will be posted to XTERRAPlanet.com after each event. Count´em up! - Different than cross country - the most points wins! The athlete with the most points - by gender and by age group - earns the title of XTERRA Regional Trail Run Series Champion and receives free entry into the XTERRA National Trail Run Championship. Tie Breakers - ties in points standings will be settled by: 1) head to head competition (if only raced against each other once), 2) the winner of the most recent race.

Dirty Spokes will be handing out medals and prizes to our overall top 3 male and female finishers for each race as well as top male and female masters and grandmasters finishers. We will also be handing out medals to our top 3 male and female finishers in each age group (14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75&Over) - you must be present to receive your medal we will not mail them to you.
