RACE COURSE

This is great single and double track off-road running experience. The race will start on a street (required for spacing) but will soon lead into the woods. The terrain is made up of a little bit of everything, rolling hills, steep hills, single track, double track, rocks, along with some technical sections. The course is beautiful and offers something for every runner truly wishing to ´ditch the city´.

10.75 Mile Course

Looking at the "Coldwater Mountain Bike Trail Map": The race will start on the street (required for spacing) and quickly lead into the woods. You will enter the single track trail on Baby Bear "A" (going clockwise) headed to "B". Once you get to "B" turn hard left onto Mama Bear. Stay on Mama Bear all the way to "D" and up to "E" (not going onto Papa Bear). Once you get to "E" turn hard left (going clockwise) onto the main trail (this will be the split for the 10.75/3.6 milers). Take "E" to "F" headed towards "Start of Bombdog" going to "G", "H" and "I" (Rock Slot) and stay on this route all the way back to "C".  Once you get to Baby Bear (9.6 Miles) you will turn left onto Baby Bear and stay on this route all the way back to the start / finish.

3.6 Mile Course

Looking at the "Coldwater Mountain Bike Trail Map": The race will start on the street (required for spacing) and quickly lead into the woods. You will enter the single track trail on Baby Bear "A" (going clockwise) headed to "B". Once you get to "B" turn hard left onto Mama Bear. Stay on Mama Bear all the way to "D" and up to "E" (not going onto Papa Bear). Once you get to "E" turn hard right (going counter clockwise) onto the main trail (this will be the split for the 10.75/3.6 milers).
