Registration is Open! We will have a participant cap of 250 Runners! This event will be held rain or shine! ALL Participants Receive a Custom Cast Dye FINISHER MEDAL!
We are Super Excited to Present the Labor Day 5K Running Race on the Asphalt Trails, Little Mulberry Park, Dacula, Georgia (this in not a dirt trail run)! This course sets up to be a great 5K running race!
Your safety and overall experience is important to us... due to the amount of runners in this event we are asking for everyone to be courteous of the following: No Dogs, No Skates, No Bikes (if you are going to run with a stroller please start at the back of the pack). Please respect the starting corrals we will have set up on race day Corral #1: 6:30 minute mile or faster, Corral #2: 7:30 minute mile or faster, Corral #3: 8:30 minute mile or faster, Corral #4: 9:30 minute mile or faster, Corral #5: 10:30 minute mile or faster, Corral #6: 11:30 minute mile or faster, Corral #7 12:30: minute mile or faster, Corral #8: 13:30 minute mile or faster, Corral #9: Richard and Lewis (anything above 13:30)! We do allow headphones and earbuds (please be courteous to other runners and keep them at a level you can hear the people around you trying to pass if needed). Please DO NOT attempt to transfer your number to another person. Your number serves as your emergency identification in case of an emergency situation.

For our 2025 events we will be using a Super Soft, Tri Blend Shirt! In doing so we must adhere to the "no guarantee of a shirt with late or race day registration". We will still offer "Men's" and "Women's" Sizes (Shirts Fit Just Like the Current Ones we Use)! So Register Early and let us know what you think!
PACKET PICKUP
5K Packet Pick Up will be the morning of the race starting at 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Race Starts at 8:00 a.m. SHARP!
RACE COURSE
The Labor Day 5K will be Run on the Asphalt Trails at Little Mulberry Park (No Dirt)! The entire course is 10-12 foot wide and 100% on Asphalt! We will Start down in front of the Large Pavillion and head around the Pond Trail (counter-clockwise), once you get up to the Playground (.53 miles), the course will Turn Right (.55 miles), then TurnRight (.57 miles), and Head to the East Meadow Loop, we will Turn Right (.76 miles), and follow the East Meadow Loop (counter-clockwise) around and will pass the asphalt Carriage Trail (1.61 miles, we will not go down the carriage trail), once you get to the intersection of the East/West Meadow Trails (1.77 miles), we will follow the West Meadow Trail to the Right (counter-clockwise) and wind all the way back down towards the Large Registration Pavillion (2.51 miles, backside of Pavillion), the course will turn right (2.58 miles), down to the Pond Trail and once we get to the Pond Trail the course will Turn Left (2.6 miles), headed back past the Playground (2.63 miles, clockwise) around the Pond Trail and back to the Finish Line (3.1 miles)!
RACE CATEGORIES
Dirty Spokes will be handing out medals and prizes to our overall top 3 male and female finishers for each race. We will also be handing out medals to our top 3 male and female finishers in each age group (14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75&U) - you must be present to receive your medal we will not mail them to you.
AWARDS
Awards will be given out when we have enough finishers in to fill the categories. Medals will be given out to the top three finishers in each category. Walkers are encouraged to participate; however, you should be able to complete the 3.1 miles at a 16 minute mile pace or under to receive an official time.
