Registration is Open! We will have a participant cap of 425 Runners Due to parking and getting that many runners onto the Greenway!
Runners the Big Creek Greenway NIGHT Trail Run Registration is OPEN! Sun Set for March 23, 2019 is 7:49 p.m. We will Start the Race at 8:30 p.m. SHARP! All Runners will need a Headlamp or Flashlight! We will have a cap on this race of 425 Participants! We are placing a cap on this event for 2 reasons... 1 parking availability, 2 getting that amount of runners into the woods (onto the Greenway).

We´re excited to present the Dirty Spokes Big Creek Greenway NIGHT Running Race on the Big Creek Greenway (Concrete / Boardwalk Greenway), Forsyth County, Georgia (this is not a dirt trail run)! This course sets up to be one of the fastest and most scenic races in Georgia! The Big Creek Greenway is a 12 foot wide concrete and boardwalk path winding through the woods along Big Creek (Check Out The Race Course Video Below And The GPS Data Above). The race will start (on the track) and finish (on the track) at Fowler Park, Cumming, Ga. A portion of your race proceeds will be donated back to the Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department!

Please Note: Registration / Packet Pick Up will take place at the Track (Fowler Park). The race will start and finish on the track at Fowler Park as well.

For our 2019 events we will be using a Super Soft, Tri Blend Shirt! In doing so we must adhere to the "no guarantee of a shirt with late or race day registration". We will still offer "Men's" and "Women's" Sizes (Shirts Fit Just Like the Current Ones we Use)! So Register Early and let us know what you think!

Packet pickup will be the evening of the race starting at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Race starts at 8:30 p.m. SHARP!

4.0 Milers:
Dirty Spokes Big Creek Greenway 4.0 Mile Night Trail Running Race (You Will Need a Headlamp... It's a Night Trail Run)! This race is going to be one of the fastest and most scenic 4.0 mile races in the state (while on the concrete and wooden boardwalk please stay on the right side of the path as we will have 2 way traffic after the 1.0 mile turn around)! Race will start on the track and run down to the greenway (through the parking lot) at mile .45 turn right (headed towards Hwy 9 / turning around before Hwy 9). Race will run out to mile 1.0 turn around and head back towards the Union Hill Road. We will turn around at mile 2.55 (before Union Hill Road) and head back towards the track at Fowler Park. At mile 3.50 we will turn right and head up to the track. When you enter the track you will stay to your left run around the track and the race will finish at the end closest to the parking lot (1/2 lap around the track to finish great viewing for the finish)!
2.0 Milers:

RACE CATEGORIES
Dirty Spokes will be handing out medals and prizes to our overall top 3 male and female as well as top male and female masters finishers for each race. We will also be handing out medals to our top 3 male and female finishers in each age group (14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75&U) – you must be present to receive your medal we will not mail them to you.
AWARDS
Awards will be given out when we have enough finishers in to fill the categories. Medals will be given out to the top three finishers in each category. Walkers are encouraged to participate; however, you should be able to complete the 4.0/2.0 miles at a 16 minute mile pace or under to receive an official time.
