SCORING ⁄ TIMING
We will be using "Chip Timing" for this race. Two person relay teams will need to wear a provided timing chip which will function as their "baton" to hand off to their teammate.

RACE COURSE
(Race will be Sprint Distances: 2.75 Mi Run – 8.5–9.0 Mi Bike – 2.75 Mi Run)
This is great single and double track off-road running experience. The terrain is rolling hills, steep climbs, single track, double track along with technical sections and creek crossings (one shallow and narrow - the other one wide - expect to get wet) and some nice switchbacks. The bike portion will be run on the mountain bike trails starting in the bike parking area. The bike route will be the Hare trail to the White Tail trail, down Rocky Way, crossing the creek, going past the waterworks and continuing on up the power line climb. It will take a little short cut along a service trail, and come out at "Confusion Corner", where the Flying Squirrel Trail starts. It will follow Flying Squirrel and take the cut through back to White Tail and then up the gravel hill and onto Tortoise, finishing in the bike parking area. The run portion will be on the "Coyote Loop". The race will be a run ⁄ bike ⁄ run (both running portions will be on the same course).
